Two men robbed a gas station in Flushing at gun point earlier this month and took off with $900 in cash, police said.
The suspects, who police believe are linked to an armed robbery that took place in Woodside last month, went inside the BP Gas Station at 29-17 Francis Lewis Blvd. at 11:10 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 4 with one of them displaying a handgun.
The suspect with the gun ordered an employee to enter the bathroom and lie down on the floor. The second suspect them took $900 from the register and then they both fled in a silver four door Honda Civic.
The robbery comes a little over two weeks since the men allegedly robbed a 7-Eleven at 61-19 Northern Blvd. in Woodside.
Police said the men went inside the store on Sunday, Dec. 17 at 11:40 p.m., with one of them
displaying a handgun and ordering an employee to get on the floor. The other suspect then ordered a different employee to open the cash register and then took $300.
The suspects then went through the employees’ pockets and took one worker’s cellphone and $40 cash.
The men also helped themselves to lottery tickets, lighters and cigarettes, police said.
The first suspect is described as a light-skinned male, last seen wearing a red seasonal cap, a fake white beard, dark blue coveralls, light blue shoe covers and white gloves, police said.
The second suspect is described as a dark-skinned man, last seen wearing a black balaclava, dark blue coveralls and purple globes.
