Police Trying to ID woman who Collapsed at Flushing Bottle Recycle Machine

Police are trying to identify a woman who collapsed yesterday while depositing bottles into a recycling machine behind a Flushing grocery store.

The woman was found unconscious and unresponsive at around 2:45 p.m. by a Food Plus store located at 44-12 Kissena Boulevard.

The woman was taken to Flushing Hospital Medical Center. She was later transferred to North Shore University Hospital and is in critical condition.

She is described as an Asian woman in her 60s. She was wearing a black hooded coat, dark colored pants and tan boots and was carrying a black purse.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
