Lottery Ticket Bought at Flushing Bodega Worth $1 million

Feb. 14, 2018 By Tara Law

The owner of a lottery ticket bought at a Flushing bodega has won $1 million, the New York Lottery announced Monday.

The ticket holder won the prize in the Mega Millions drawing Tuesday. The ticket was bought at Mitul Quickstop Inc. at 60-08 Main St.

The ticket matched five numbers out of a possible six, which guarantees the winner the million. Two other ticket holders, one in Kentucky and the other in Michigan, also won a million dollars in the drawing.

The first five Mega Millions winning numbers are drawn from numbers one to 75. A sixth “Mega Ball” is drawn from a field of one to 15.

The winning numbers were 5, 12, 15, 46, 49 and Mega Ball 1.

The drawings take place every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m.
