Police Searching for Teen Involved in Flushing Robbery

Police are searching for a young man who allegedly snatched a teenage boy’s headphones and punched another youth in the face on a Flushing street on March 5.

The suspect, who is believed to be about 18, was walking with two other teens near Main Street and Roosevelt Avenue around 2:19 p.m when they spotted a pair of teenage boys, one 17 and the other 18.

The three walked up to the teens and the suspect took the 18-year-old’s headphones, police said. The suspect then punched the 17-year old in the face, and one of his accomplices also tried to stab the boy.

The suspect’s two companions have been arrested.

Police describe the suspect as light skinned and Hispanic.
