The police are looking for two men who allegedly stole a 66-year-old woman’s wallet at J-Mart in Flushing last month.
One of the suspects allegedly approached the victim from behind and removed her wallet from her purse at the 136-20 Roosevelt Ave. store. The second man shielded the thief with his jacket to ensure no one could see, police said.
The wallet contained $600 in cash and several credit cards.
Police released footage of the incident today and said the theft took place on Wednesday, March 28 at around 8:30 p.m.
The first suspect is described as Hispanic, last seen wearing a black and gray baseball cap, a black jacket, black pants and black sneakers.
The second man is a described as Hispanic with eye glasses. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a black jacket, a gray hooded sweater, black pants and black shoes.

This is the second theft to have taken place inside J-Mart in the past two months, according to police. In February, a man allegedly stole a woman’s purse from her shopping cart.
