NYPD: Trio Robbed Flushing Spa at Knifepoint

Police are searching for three men who allegedly robbed a Flushing spa at knifepoint Monday afternoon.

The trio walked inside Golden Prince Spa, located at 33-70 Prince St., at around 5:15 p.m., before brandishing a knife at a pair of female employees and demanding money.

One of the men held the knife at the throat of one of the employees as his accomplices restrained the other woman.

The trio took off on foot with three iPhones and $700. The victims were not injured in the incident.

The suspects were caught on surveillance video near the spa shortly before the robbery.

Religious and independent schools throughout the city will soon receive additional funding for school safety equipment, thanks to Assemblymember Andrew Hevesi and State Senator Michael Gianaris, who, after extensive advocacy efforts, successfully secured $70 million from the New York State Budget for 2024-25 for Non-Public School Safety Equipment (NPSE) grants.
