Police are searching for a woman who smacked a 39-year-old woman across the face with a skateboard and threatened her with a knife.
The attack took place at 5:50 p.m. on Aug. 29 near 58th Road and 146th Street. Police say that the victim was getting out of her car when the suspect struck her with the skateboard and menaced her with a knife.
The suspect then took off on foot, making her way down 146th Street in the direction of Kissena Park.
The victim suffered a cut and swelling around her left eye. She was taken by emergency responders to NY Presbyterian Hospital in Queens, where she was in stable condition.
The suspect is described as a heavy-set white woman with blonde and black curly hair. She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and black tights.
