Bank in Whitestone Robbed, Suspect Makes Off With $1,800: NYPD

The police are searching for a man who robbed a Whitestone bank Friday and made off with nearly $1,800 in cash.

The suspect allegedly entered the TD Bank branch located at 148-08 Cross Island Parkway at around 6 p.m. Nov. 30, approached a teller and demanded cash. The teller complied and placed $1,771 in an envelope and the suspect fled in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as black, approximately 35 years old, 6 feet 1 inches tall and about 250 pounds. He was last seen wearing a baseball hat and a black hooded sweater.

The police have released a photo of the suspect.

Terrible place for a picture of the suspect. At first, it looks like a billboard so you don’t notice it. Add some white outline to his picture or move it to a different spot so that it can be helpful to people who read this article.

Since this bank was in the process of being built all I ever said was how stupid do u have to be to have a bank right by a exit and entrance of a highway this is the second time in 4 years that it’s been robbed smh good luck finding this person

Teenage girl groped by man on a stand-up scooter on Main Street in Downtown Flushing: NYPD

A 15-year-old girl was groped as she walked in Downtown Flushing by a man riding a stand-up scooter on the morning of Thursday, Nov. 14.

Police from the 109th Precinct are looking for a suspect who approached the victim as she was walking in the vicinity of Main Street and 39th Avenue just before 9:30 a.m. and touched her rear end before riding away southbound on Main Street toward Roosevelt Avenue a block away. The girl was not injured during the encounter, police said.
