Two Men Rob an Autobody Shop in Willets Point at Gunpoint: NYPD

The police are looking for two men who allegedly robbed an autobody shop in Willets Point at gunpoint Saturday, taking off with about $2,200 in cash.

The suspects entered Discount Mufflers, located at 126-01 38th Ave., at about 8:10 p.m. before one of the men grabbed an employee and demanded money. The other suspect struck the victim in the head with a firearm, police said.

The employee, a 37-year-old man, handed over the cash to the suspects. The suspects then fled in an unknown direction.

The first suspect is described as Hispanic, with a dark complexion, slim build and about 6 feet tall. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt with blue sweats and gloves.

The other man is Hispanic, with a light complexion, slim build, salt and pepper hair, and between 5 feet 3 inches and 5 feet 7 inches tall.
