Update 12/21: Michael P. McDonald has been located and is safe as of Dec. 20, according to police. Pingan Yang was located on Dec. 18, and is safe and reunited with his family.

Police are searching for two Flushing residents who have been missing since last week in two unrelated cases.
Michael P. McDonald, 58, was last seen at his home near Auburndale Lane and Northern Boulevard at around 2 p.m. on Dec. 13.
He is described as white, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 175 pounds, and with brown eyes and salt and pepper hair.
He was last seen wearing a green jacket, black jeans, and black shoes.
Pingan Yang, a 73-year-old, meanwhile, was last seen inside his home near 27th Avenue and Parsons Boulevard at around 10:30 p.m. on Dec. 14.
He is described as Asian, about 5 feet 2 inches tall, 150 pounds, with brown eyes and partially balding salt and pepper hair.
He was last seen wearing a black winter jacket, blue jeans, and black sneakers and may have been wheeling a blue luggage cart.
An NYPD spokesperson said the two individuals have not been accounted for as of press time.
