My heart goes out to her family and friends. That’s horrible! I’ve noticed that whenever there is a fire in a home or apartment, whether in NY or surrounding areas, there is never any mention of a smoke alarm going off. There’s no reason not to have 1 or more in your home. So many lives can be saved.
