Police are searching for a woman who allegedly broke into and stole thousands of dollars worth of property from a Flushing home last month.

According to police, the woman broke into the residence near Roosevelt Avenue and Parsons Boulevard sometime between 2 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Feb. 1, while the 53-year-old resident was out.

The victim eventually came home to find her front door open and her bedroom ransacked, with the window to the fire escape open.

Police say that the thief stole four rings, a bracelet and two necklaces that totaled $4,480. Credit cards and personal papers were also stolen.

The NYPD later determined, through security video surveillance, that the thief used one of the stolen credit cards to make a purchase at a nearby store.

The 109th Precinct took to Twitter earlier this week to ask the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspec.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
