A man stole an iPhone from a 5-year-old boy who was walking down a Murray Hill street with his grandmother earlier this month, police say.
The boy was with his grandmother in front of 26-07 166th St. on April 19 around 1:30 p.m. when the suspect approached the child and snatched the cell phone.
The man ran south on 166th Street towards 27th Avenue with the iPhone, police say.
The victims were not injured.
Police describe the suspect black and about 18-years-old. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and dark pants.

You trying to teach him how to get hit by a car?
I didn’t know it snowed this month. These guys are cowards. They either steal from elderly people or children – the ones who can’t defend themselves and then run away like cowards. I’m glad it’s a good picture of him and I hope he’s arrested and put in jail for the rest of his miserable life.
Well, why does a five year old have and need a cell phone? This is how children get hit by cars!
So they can be located in case they get lost, of course! Jeez….
