Man’s Body Found on Little Neck Bay Beach: NYPD

An unidentified man’s body was found on the shores of Little Neck Bay Beach yesterday evening, police say.

Police responded to a 911 call around 5:45 p.m. of an unconscious person on the beach in the vicinity of 162-21 Powells Cove Blvd.

Upon arrival, police discovered the male on the beach unconscious and unresponsive. EMS responded and declared the male deceased upon arrival.

The medical examiner is working to determine the cause of death and the investigation remains ongoing.

The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending family notification.
