Woman Found Dead Inside Flushing Apartment

A woman was found dead inside a Flushing apartment over the weekend.

On Sunday, just before 10:30 a.m., police responded to a call of an unconscious person inside an apartment of 143-16 Willets Point Blvd. Officers arrived and found an unconscious and unresponsive Asian woman on a bed inside the apartment.

EMS responded to the scene and pronounced the unidentified woman dead.

Police have yet to release the woman’s name, pending family notificationThe medical examiner has yet to determine a cause of death and an investigation is ongoing.
