Thief Breaks Into Locker at Flushing Gym, Charges $600 to Stolen Card

Police are searching for a woman who allegedly had a shopping spree with someone else’s debit card after stealing it from a locker in a Flushing gym.

Around 7 a.m. on July 4, the thief forced open a locker at BodhiFitness Center at 35-11 Prince Street, according to police. She took keys and a wallet along with $60 and a debit card, all belonging to a 52-year-old woman.

She used the debit card later that day to make various purchases totaling $600.

Police described the suspect as a light-skinned female, seen wearing a white shirt and ponytail and sunglasses on her head, and carrying a black and white messenger bag.

If there aren’t already, there should be cameras in the locker room and the front desk should be connected to it. Locker break-ins happen too often (sometimes it’s because the gym member was too stupid to lock their locker) but most times the locks are broken into.

Masked gunman robs Total Wireless store in Flushing, steals $6K: NYPD

Police from the 109th Precinct in Flushing are looking for a masked gunman who pulled off an armed robbery at a cell phone store on the night of Monday, May 5.

The suspect entered the Total Wireless shop located in the old Hua Cheng Restaurant at 41-19 Kissena Blvd., across the street from the Queens Public Library branch, just before 7 p.m. He approached the counter, pulled out a firearm, and threatened the 27-year-old woman who was working the night shift, police said Wednesday.
