Police Arrest Man Who Assaulted Woman Outside Flushing Church

Police have arrested the man who punched a 53-year-old woman in the back of the head outside a Flushing church last week.

Police arrested 36-year-old Chun Wang of Chinatown yesterday, Nov. 6 at 12:48 p.m. and charged him with assault and harassment.

Wang allegedly punched the woman outside Saint Michael’s Church, 136-76 41st Ave., after being asked to leave the church for causing a disturbance on Oct. 28.

EMS rushed the victim to Booth Memorial hospital in stable condition.

According to police, Wang’s last reported address was homeless shelter in Manhattan’s Chinatown.
