Police are searching for a man who snatched a woman’s bag with $2,000 cash inside in Flushing earlier this month.
The 51-year-old woman was walking on the sidewalk near 41-82 Main St on Nov. 2 just before 3 p.m., when the unknown man grabbed her bag and ran off, police said. The victim’s bag contained approximately $2,000, identification cards and credit cars.
The alleged bag-snatcher then fled northbound on Main Street, cops said.

Our local politicians wont lift a finger. they’re more concerned gambling parlors and bordellos and shrouding them from police action.
The 109 in Flushing covers way too much territory. Need to split up the coverage.
With all the robberies going on in Flushing one would expect the city to notice and increase policing.
Even with increase policing. The 109th is the most corrupt. They would just turn a blind eye.
