The members of a Flushing synagogue have sold their synagogue site and adjacent parking lot for $37.5 million, according to city records.
Temple Gates of Prayer, located at 38-20 Parsons Blvd., has sold the property to Eastone Parsons Holding LLC, according to city records. The deal closed Dec. 16.
A 12-story office tower is likely to be built on the parking lot, City Realty reported last year, although no official plans have been filed with the Department of Buildings.
City Realty reported Queens-based Angelo Ng & Anthony NG Architects Studio P.C. is designing the project. The firm nor synagogue did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Eastone Parsons Holding LLC is reportedly associated with Queens developer Shun Qian Liu.
