Jan. 8, 2020 By Kristen Torres

More than 700 people are expected to attend the Queens Taste 2020 event at the New York Hall of Science later this year.

The 18th annual fundraiser will be held on May 5 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., where guests will be able to sample food and drinks from more than 60 different vendors.

The Queens Taste brings together international brands and local eateries each year. Attendees can expect to sample beverages from local breweries and craft coffee companies, along with a wide range of cuisines, including Brazilian, Chinese, Ecuadorian, Indian and French.

Live music will also be performed throughout the evening by the NYC-based Afro-Latineers.

Many of the borough’s business and civic leaders are slated to attend the event, which is being organized by the Queens Economic Development Corporation (QEDC) and the Queens Tourism Council.

Proceeds from Queens Taste 2020 will go back into the Queens community through the QEDC, a non-profit organization whose mission is to create, attract and retain jobs in Queens.

The New York Hall of Science is located at 47-01 111th Street in Flushing Meadows Corona Park. Early bird tickets are now available for $85 at www.thequeenstaste.com. Ticket prices will increase to $125 on Mar. 1.
