66-Year-Old Woman Pushed Into Train at 74th Street Jackson Heights Station in Random Attack

A 66-year-old woman was shoved into a subway train by a stranger at a station in Jackson Heights on Sunday.

The woman was standing on the train platform inside the 74th Street–Roosevelt Avenue station at around 11:45 p.m. when another woman randomly pushed her into a northbound E train, which was stopped at the station, police said.

The 66-year-old fell into the safety chains of the train. EMS rushed her to Queens General Hospital for an abrasion to her knee and swelling to her ankle, police said.

The suspect in the attack is believed to be a Hispanic woman, approximately 25-years-old and 5 feet 3 inches tall.
