Police Looking For Man Who Attempted to Rob Chase Bank in Flushing Thursday

Police are looking for a man who attempted to rob a Chase Bank branch in Flushing Thursday.

The suspect entered the branch, located at 35-36 154th St., at approximately 2:20 p.m. and handed a  note to a teller demanding money. However, the man lost his nerve and fled the bank when another teller walked over to read the note.

The suspect is described as light-skinned, in his 30’s, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing about 230 pounds. He has black hair and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, dark pants, dark shoes, glasses, white face mask and carrying a dark color bookbag.

The police have released video footage of the man.
