During the 28-day period from Jan. 29 to Feb. 25, the number of felony assaults reported increased 9.6% in northern Queens, from 197 incidents last year to 216 this year. During the 28-day period from Dec. 18 to Jan. 14, reported robberies have increased 51.3% in northern Queens, from 117 cases the previous year to 177 this year.
