Police from the 109th Precinct in Flushing are still searching for two burglars who made off with a vast amount of cash and property during an apartment heist in Queensboro Hill back on the morning of Monday Dec. 4.

Two strangers broke into a residence in one of the 3-story apartment buildings near the intersection of 136th Street and Booth Memorial, one block south of the Queens Botanical Garden, at around 10:15 a.m. Once inside, the suspects removed approximately $130,000 in cash and property valued at around $40,000. An NYPD spokesman could not say if the property included jewelry or electronics.

The burglars took off in a gray SUV in an unknown direction. The NYPD released a surveillance image of one of the suspects who drove the getaway car and described him as having dark hair and a light complexion.
