The police are investigating the death of a 17-year-old girl who died under mysterious circumstances outside her Fresh Meadows home early Monday.

Yixuan Yin was discovered by a parent lying on the grass in front of the family home at 75-49 186th St. at around 1:15 a.m., according to police.

Yin had not returned home from running errands and the parent came across her body after going outside to look for her, police said.

The police were called to the scene and upon arrival, officers observed Yin unconscious and unresponsive, cops said.

She was transferred to New York-Presbyterian Queens by EMS where she was pronounced dead.

There were no obvious signs of trauma on her body, according to the New York Daily News.

The Medical Examiner will ultimately determine the cause of death once an autopsy is completed, police said.

No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
