Flushing Gas Station Employee Struck by Thrown Gatorade Bottle

An employee at a BP gas station in Flushing was struck by a half-full Gatorade bottle when a man threw it at his head on Friday, according to police. 

On Aug. 16 at 5:45 p.m., the man got into an argument with the employee and when it escalated, he threw the bottle at his head. The employee suffered a laceration on his head and refused medical attention at the scene. 

The man is now wanted in connection to the assault and is described as Hispanic, dark-skinned and in his late 20s to early 30s, according to the NYPD. He was last seen wearing a traffic vest. The police released the above photo of the suspect.
