A Flushing pool hall has been closed temporarily by the Department of Health.

DIY Billiards & Lounge, located at 36-21 Prince Street, was closed following a Feb. 7 inspection.

The health inspector slapped the hall with 56 violation points for sewage and liquid waste  contamination and an improper sewage disposal system.

The inspector described the following violations, both of which were listed as critical.

1) Food, food preparation area, food storage area, area used by employees or patrons, contaminated by sewage or liquid waste.

2) Sewage disposal system improper or unapproved.
