A 14-year-old girl was shot in the neck and two 18-year-old boys were each shot in the leg when a gunman opened fire on a group of people in Fresh Meadows Wednesday.

The teens were standing near 64-50 188th St. at about 4 p.m. when an unknown shooter sprayed bullets, hitting the three victims, police said.

The 14-year-old girl — reportedly an innocent bystander — was struck in the neck and rushed to Long Island Jewish Hospital in critical, but stable condition.

The two other teens were both struck in the leg and were taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital – Queens in stable condition.

Witnesses near the scene told the New York Post that they heard arguing and shouting right before the sound of a gun firing.

Assembly Member Nily Rozic, Council Member Linda Lee and Council Member James Gennaro issued a joint statement yesterday condemning the violence and said that all levels of government need to find a way to increase public safety.

“Given recent events including shootings and assaults in neighboring communities, we understand the growing concerns about public safety in Northeast Queens and are calling for a renewed commitment from all levels of government to tackle the rising gun violence across New York City,” they said in a joint statement.

The three lawmakers said they were coordinating with the local precinct to update residents on Wednesday’s shooting and wished the victims a “full and speedy recovery”.

They urged anyone with information regarding the shooting to call the NYPD 107th Precinct directly at 718-969-5100.
