May 13, 2019 By Laura Hanrahan

Police are searching for a man wanted for the attempted robbery of a Flushing spa earlier this month.

On May 1, around 12:01 a.m., the unidentified man entered Young Spa, located at 133-08 41 Ave., and demanded cash from a woman inside. The woman told the suspect that there was no money, at which point he grabbed the woman’s arm and pushed her. He then fled the scene on foot, heading westbound on 41 Avenue.

It is unclear whether the woman was an employee of the spa, police said.

The man is described as black, approximately 23 years of age, 5 feet 8 inches in height, and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
