Man Fatally Shot Inside High-End Flushing Apartment, Cops Launch Murder Investigation

Police have launched a murder investigation into the death of a 26-year-old Bay Terrace man who was found dead with a gunshot wound to his head inside a Flushing apartment Sunday.

Justin Li, 26, was discovered by police at around 7:30 p.m. Sept. 19 after they were called to check up on him at his girlfriend’s high-end apartment at 138-35 39th Ave.

He was found in bed wrapped in sheets and a quilt—with blood on his face. Police said today that he succumbed to a gunshot wound.

There have been no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
