Man Found Dead in Parked Car by Horace Harding Expressway: NYPD

A man was found dead inside a parked vehicle by the Horace Harding Expressway in Flushing this morning.

Police received a 911 call at around 7:30 a.m. that there was an unconscious man inside a parked car in the vicinity of the west bound Horace Harding Expressway service road and 136th Street.

Upon arrival, police discovered a 43-year-old man unconscious and unresponsive with no apparent trauma.

EMS responded and pronounced the man dead on the scene.

The medical examiner will determine the cause of death and the investigation is ongoing. The man’s name has yet to be released, pending family notification.

A Jamaica man was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole in Queens Supreme Court on Friday for the 2022 murders of his girlfriend, her son, and her cousin.

Travis Blake, 31, of 155th Street, was convicted by a jury last month of first-degree murder and other counts for the triple slaying in June 2022. The bodies of his victims were discovered with an array of puncture and blunt force wounds in a state of decomposition in their shared Jamaica home.
