Man Found Dead Inside His Corona Apartment, Police Treating Incident as Homicide

A man was found dead inside his Corona apartment Tuesday evening and the incident is being investigated as a homicide (Google Maps)

A man was found dead inside his Corona apartment Tuesday evening and the incident is being investigated as a homicide, police said.

The victim, 35, was discovered at around 6 p.m. with severe trauma to his torso inside the apartment located at 100-24 40th Rd., the NYPD said. The man was declared dead at the scene.

Police did not provide any more details pertaining to the man’s demise. The Medical Examiner will ultimately determine the cause of death.

The victim’s identity has not yet been released, pending family notification.

There have been no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
