Man Killed in Construction Accident in Northeast Queens: NYPD

A man was killed while he was helping to unload a dumpster in northeast Queens Monday morning, police said.

Police were called to a house in the vicinity of 191st Street and Northern Boulevard at around 10:30 a.m. and discovered the victim unconscious and unresponsive in the driveway.

According to police, the victim, 32, was killed while he was standing in the driveway while a dumpster was being unloaded. He was struck in the head when a loading door opened.

The identity of the victim has yet to be released, pending family notification.
