Man Wanted For Stealing Cash from a Malaysian Restaurant in Flushing

Police are searching for a man who burglarized a Malaysian restaurant in Flushing early Monday and took off with cash.

Police said the suspect broke through the front door of Curry Leaves, located at 135-31 40th Rd., just before 3 a.m. The thief then went to register and stole $1,000 cash. He then fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.

Police released video footage of the suspect taken during the incident.
