Suspect (NYPD)

March 23, 2021 By Christian Murray

The police are looking for a bike-riding pervert who allegedly rode up behind two women—on two separate occasions—in College Point earlier this month and grabbed or smacked them on the buttocks.

The man, in the first incident, allegedly approached a 28-year-old woman on his bike while she was walking westbound on 121 Street—by 18th Avenue—before grabbing her buttocks at around 8:40 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10.

The woman gave chase and the unidentified man dismounted the bicycle, exposed his penis and then fled on the bicycle, northbound on 18 Ave. The victim was not injured.

The following day, the bike-riding groper approached an 18-year-old woman from behind and smacked her on the buttocks inside of MacNeil Park, in the vicinity of Peppenhusen Avenue and 119 Street, at around 5:10 p.m. The suspect then fled on his bicycle and the woman was uninjured.

Police have released a photo and video of the suspect that was taken in front of 1439 College Point Blvd. shortly before the March 10 incident.

Anyone with information in regard to these incidents is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM, or on Twitter @NYPDTips.

Three sought in armed robbery near Flushing Meadows Corona Park: NYPD

Police from the 110th Precinct in Elmhurst are looking for armed robbers who targeted a 26-year-old woman in Corona and remain at large nearly two weeks later.

Police say three strangers approached the woman as she walked near the Playground for All Children in Flushing Meadows Corona Park at Corona Avenue and Saultell Avenue at around 4:20 a.m. on Friday, July 12. One of the perpetrators allegedly pulled out a small silver revolver and threatened the victim, while the others forcibly removed two yellow gold necklaces worth $2,000, according to the police report; however, an NYPD spokesman said it is not clear if that was the value of both chains or each one individually.
