Suspect Steals $1,500 from Adult Day Care Center in Flushing

The police are looking for a thief who swiped $1,500 in cash from an adult day care center in Flushing last week.

According to the police, at 6:22 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24, the male burglar entered the facility located at 132-28 41st Ave. His means of entering the building are unknown.

The suspect then allegedly went into an office and removed $1,500 in cash. He then fled the scene on foot, walking in an unknown direction, according to police.

The police describe the suspect as white and wearing eyeglasses. He was last scene wearing a blue shirt, light shorts, and black sneakers.

A man was beaten with a hammer and robbed by four strangers inside a restaurant in Flushing on the night of Saturday, Feb. 22, and the suspects remain at large.

The 40-year-old victim entered an unnamed restaurant in the vicinity of Northern Boulevard and Union Street with two 16-year-old boys for a late dinner just before 10 p.m. when four young men walked into the restaurant and ordered the three victims to get on the floor. Police from the 109th Precinct in Flushing are looking for a sleazy soccer fan who groped a 19-year-old woman after he flashed her and pleasured himself on board a Q44 MTA bus last month.

The incident occurred on the night of Thursday, Feb. 27, on the bus near Northern Boulevard just after 8:30 p.m. when the shaggy-haired deviant approached the victim and exposed himself to her while performing a lewd act before grabbing her rear end, police said Wednesday.

Scooter-riding groper sought in broad daylight assault in Elmhurst: NYPD

The Queens Special Victims Squad is looking for a scooter-riding groper who targeted a 37-year-old woman in Elmhurst in broad daylight on the afternoon of Saturday, March 1.

The victim was walking past a house at 41-47 77th St. at around 1:15 p.m. when the suspect rode up behind the victim and grabbed her rear end, police said Wednesday. The perpetrator sped away from the scene on his red and black scooter northbound on 77th Street before turning left onto Roosevelt Avenue and heading toward Jackson Heights.
