Thieves Steal Cash and Property from Flushing Home: NYPD

May 23, 2019 By Meghan Sackman

The police have released video footage of two men who allegedly broke into a Flushing home earlier this week and stole about $2,000 worth of cash and goods.

The victim, a 50-year-old man, came home on May 20 to find property missing, police say. The police did not release the victim’s address, other than say it is in the vicinity of 164th Street and Metcalf Avenue.

Video footage revealed that the two men forcefully entered a back window, around 2:40 p.m. earlier that day, before stealing clothing and cash and fleeing out the front door.

Police said the suspects were last seen wearing masks and all dark clothing.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
